The Rosemont is a 4 star, spacious and beautifully maintained, late 19th century property that was originally occupied by descendants of Sir Francis Drake.
Standing in a prominent location in the village of Yelverton and overlooking the village green The Rosemont lies within the western edges of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. It is superbly situated for exploring the outstanding beauty of Dartmoor and surrounding areas, including the historic city of Plymouth and the ancient stannary town of Tavistock.
This light and airy house is a family run business, owned and operated by Chris and Julie, who took over in 1997. Since then, lots of additional features and comforts have been added for guests enjoyment. We aim to provide the right balance between the comfort and independence of a quality hotel and the individuality and welcome of a B&B.
All rooms featured have remote control Digital TV's, DVD players, DAB Radios, hospitality trays with tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water and lots of those extra special little touches to make your stay both enjoyable and memorable.
